Getting ready for departure day.

I currently have the same excitement level that I felt counting the days before I would arrive in Mentone, Alabama at Camp Skyline Ranch.  I loved going to camp each summer and those two months each year were always some of my favorite.  I loved everything about camp.  I especially enjoyed the friendships that I made there which have lasted throughout the many years since those special "camp summers".  As I prepare for my Jackson Hole Adventure 2011, I feel the same energy and excitement.  I look forward to meeting new people with new visions of the world.  I look forward to the beauty of the land and breathing in the cool crisp mountain air.  I wonder what the four months has in store for me, and I am ready to take advantage of the adventure.  Life is short and we don't always get the opportunity to try something new....something different.....something out of what others believe should be the norm.  I know that for some my decision to jump into this adventure has been viewed as an "odd choice".  They have said "what is she thinking and why would she do this?"  Hard to explain my emotions behind all of this, but I know deep inside myself that I can not pass up such an opportunity that has been presented to me on a silver platter.  I know how fortunate I have been in my life.  I realize that I have enjoyed many opportunities that others never see.  Eventhough I do not know what life will be like for four months in Jackson Hole, there is an energy inside me that simply won't allow me to miss out on this experience.  I never want the feeling of regret inside me for not taking advantage of adventures and experiences that present themselves to me.  So.....let the Jackson Hole Adventure of 2011 begin!
