About Me

I fell in love with Jackson Hole when first introduced to the area by the Butcher family. When I decided to spend the summer of '11 out here in JH, a former Pingry athlete, Katie Occhipinti, suggested I blog the adventure. I had no idea what a blog was but Katie O set the whole thing up and got me on my way. Last summer was a tremendous experience. The blog details all the great fun I shared with friends from June '11 - Oct. '11. Even before I left to head back to SRQ, I knew I wanted more of JH. I am now back in JH for "Adventure Summer Round Two!" Many friends have encouraged me to continue the blog this summer ...... so here we go! I arrived to town on June 12th and immediately felt at home. I am looking forward to another summer of hiking, biking and visits from friends. I once again look forward to sharing this experience with all of my friends who have planned to visit me out here. I also look forward to sharing the experience with my friends who follow this blog. Wedding Week Parties and Fun

With all of the wedding guests in town and a fun and busy schedule, I have been delinquent with my postings.  It has been a great few days with everyone in town and enjoying Jackson Hole and the excitement of Kevin and Vicky's.

On Friday, Vicky and Kevin hosted a yummy dinner at my house (because it is close to airport) as different friends and family members arrived in town.  The beautiful views of the Tetons made for a lovely backdrop to such a special time.  There was much laughter and enjoyment all night long.  I do believe that Kevin's sister in law Donna won the award for most fun when she arrived from Louisville decked out in western wear (she made both Maisch brothers and sister in law Barbara join in) and with a special "fascinator" for Kevin and Vicky to wear!  It was a most fun evening and the Maisch/Johnson
family members had a great time "kicking it up" together.

It was a great evening to just be with old and new friends.  There was not a shy person in the room.  Did I say it was great fun?  It was really great fun.

    While the wedding week had so many fun and ‘fascinating’ elements, I felt blessed to bear witness to a couple so deeply in love!

    I so much enjoyed meeting you my new “boot buddy” as you kicked off the celebration at your Jackson Hole ranch. What spectacular views – and THAT sunset! Thanks for hosting us and making it such a memorable time for all.

    Oh, and thanks for your blog, lovin’ following your adventures! Please put the Ville on your blog radar, partner!!! I’m thinking Oaks/Derby box but please wait to get your hats/fascinators until you all arrive in Louisville -- milliners from all over the world! Think pink for the Oaks and anything goes for Derby.
